Can I attend meetings on astrobiology? PDF Print E-mail

There are many British and international meetings and conferences that have discussion sessions in astrobiology or related areas, and the ASB alerts its members to any relevant events through our regular newsletter. The ASB holds its own conference once every two years which acts as a strong focus for UK members of the astrobiology community, as well as attracting many international delegates, and is a crucial opportunity to discuss ideas and keep abreast of the most recent research developments in the field. The most recent ASB conference, entitled ‘Life Here, There, and Everywhere’, was hosted by the University of Kent, Canterbury, in April 2006. The schedule included sessions on Mars, Raman spectroscopy, astrobiology education and outreach, exoplanets, and panspermia.
